Common side effects may include:
Spravato®

What Is Spravato®?
Spravato® is a prescription nasal spray that contains esketamine, a form of ketamine. It is used in combination with an oral antidepressant and is administered under the supervision of a certified healthcare provider in a medical setting.
Unlike most antidepressants that take weeks to take effect, Spravato® works on
different brain receptors and may provide rapid relief from symptoms of depression—sometimes within hours or days.
Who is a Spravato Candidate?
Spravato® is approved for adults with:
- Treatment-Resistant Depression (TRD): You’ve tried at least two different antidepressant medications without success.
- Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) with Suicidal Ideation or Behavior: You are experiencing severe depressive symptoms and need rapid intervention.
Please note, a thorough psychiatric evaluation is required to determine if Spravato® is the right fit for your condition and overall health. We will provide this to all patients prior to beginning treatment.

How Is Spravato® Different from Other Treatments?
- Rapid Relief: Many patients report symptom improvement within hours to days.
- Neuroplasticity Effects: Esketamine may help restore healthy brain function by forming new neural connections.
- Used with Traditional Meds: It works alongside—not instead of—your oral antidepressants.
